Pastor David Ceja

Pastor David Ceja is a husband to Joyce and a proud dad to three beautiful girls, with one more on the way. He gave his life to Jesus at 19 during a missions trip, and that decision set him on a lifelong journey of following Christ and serving others.

David received his theological training through Centro Hispano de Estudios Teológicos (C.H.E.T.) with the Evangelical Covenant Church. He was shaped in a loving, Christ-centered community where he developed a heart for worship, evangelism, and pastoral ministry. After serving five years as an Associate Pastor in San Diego, David and Joyce sensed God calling them to plant a Hispanic church in San Juan Capistrano in 2018 through the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Today, Pastor David serves a growing multicultural congregation in San Juan Capistrano and remains passionate about helping people pursue Jesus and discover God’s purpose for their lives.
